Tema do Mês – Dezembro 2022 – “Artigos sobre História Social”

A Biblioteca de História das Ciências e da Saúde apresenta uma seleção de artigos publicados em duas revistas que fazem parte do seu acervo; os sumários dos fascículos da revista Journal of Social History e artigos do periódico Past & Present, cujos textos completos podem ser solicitados pelo atendimento da biblioteca (bibliotecahcs@fiocruz.br). Journal of Social History é uma revista trimestral fundada em 1967 que incentiva o desenvolvimento na profissão de história como um todo. Publica artigos de história social de todas as áreas e períodos, e tem desempenhado um papel importante na integração de trabalhos na história da América Latina, África, Ásia e Rússia com análises sócio-históricas na Europa Ocidental e nos Estados Unidos.

Past & Present é uma revista fundada em 1952 que oferece uma variedade de artigos acadêmicos e originais sobre mudanças históricas, sociais e culturais em diversas partes do mundo. Comunica os resultados da pesquisa histórica mais recente de forma legível e viva e examina problemas e períodos específicos, bem como questões mais amplas de mudança histórica.
